Tourists flock around to the Philippines when the climate is perfect for vacation holidays. This is usually during the winter months that start from November and go on until March. It is during these months that the temperature and the weather in the islands are much pleasant and acceptable. The hot and humid summer months are usually to be avoided unless you are required to be in the Philippines for a business requirement.

The typical tropical weather is more or less unkind during this time and there are several occasions of squalls, thunderstorms and typhoons hitting Philippines during the dry summer months. In view of the repressive heat and the humidity levels being high, most of the people in Philippines prefer doing off their outdoor work before ten in the morning. Again, people move around the shopping centres after six in the evenings to avoid the summer sun.

Light clothing is always recommended in the Philippines. This is to keep the skin from contacting several fungus related diseases. Always have light clothing ready after a bath so that you remain absolutely fresh and clean throughout. This is due to very hot and humid weather, especially in the summer months.

Rainfall in some areas of the Philippines can be as mach as five metes annually, especially across the lush green mountains on the east coast. Some of the more isolated valleys get only 1 meter of rain each year.
